Digital Literacy skills
The world is moving into a more digital landscape. We take our women and girls through accredited digital skills training so they can use technology practically — to find work, start their own businesses, handle business operations, and communicate confidently online. These skills open real doors and help them step into the future with readiness and independence.
Business Workshop
We host practical business workshops where we bring in experts to guide women on how to access funding and how to draft a solid business plan. These sessions are about more than paperwork — they give women the tools and confidence to start and grow their own businesses, free themselves from toxic environments, and build real economic independence for themselves and their families.
Rural Women Shoe Project
We work side by side with rural women to create handmade shoes and clothing. Through this work they earn an income, support their families, and reclaim dignity through their own skill and creativity. Every pair of shoes and every garment carries the story of women who are building better lives with their hands.
Beadwork Making Project
Many women are systematically abandoned and neglected because of a lack of education. Through beadwork we help them use their hands to earn an income, support their families. This programme is aimed at bridging inclusive in the economy participation by starting their informal business for dignity and independency. Women need economic power so they can liberate themselves from toxic and abusive environments, stand with dignity, and fully participate in society.
Plumbing Skills
We believed it was important for women to enter a previously male-dominated industry where they have historically been underrepresented, creating space for them to rely on and support one another. This builds a sense of community and safety—knowing you can employ a woman to fix your plumbing while fostering real economic independence. Our plumbing programme challenged traditional gender norms and, beyond creating employment opportunities, built confidence, peer support, and greater economic independence for the women involved.
Young men soccer team
We also run soccer for young boys to keep them off the streets and teach gender equality from a young age. We believe that by investing in young people and teaching them about equality early, we can contribute towards building a healthier and more equitable society. They learn discipline, build confidence, stay off the streets, and believe in a brighter future. For many of them, the soccer field is where they feel safe, supported, and inspired. We are looking for sponsors to help provide soccer kits and boots so every boy has the opportunity to play with pride.

Annual Charity Events
Over the years, we have hosted annual charity drives in our communities, including a school shoe drive for disadvantaged learners. We have also hosted Christmas celebrations at an old age home, where we shared essential care items, personal hygiene products, cosmetics, sweets and other goodies with the elderly
Annual Birthday Hiking Event
AbafaziPhambili’s annual birthday hike is part of our education and wellness programme, while also creating an opportunity to raise awareness about the inequalities that continue to affect women and their communities. Our annual hike is more than an outing — it is a meaningful opportunity to step away from everyday challenges
Conversations with Sis’Mantoa
We also host face-to-face Conversations with Sis’ Mantoa events, creating safe spaces for dialogue, connection and emotional support. Conversations with Sis’ Mantoa is also a magazine extension of AbafaziPhambili’s advocacy, created to amplify the voices, stories and experiences of marginalised women
